With the Oly 100-400 and a fair amount of cropping:

One with the kit 12-60, and two with the Tamron Adaptall-2 SP 180/2.5 63B...

uncommon (but not rare) dark morph of the eastern tiger swallowtail butterfly

this constantly moving question mark butterfly laying eggs was deep within a tree, so I didn't know what I was shooting, just held the camera at arm's length
and guessed at the focus thru the LCD

wide open with the 63B

Decided to try the Raynox DCR-250. Really liking it so far. Lumix 12-60mm with Raynox 250. After a heavy rain we had a burst of mushrooms everywhere.

Yes! I saw the amazing results you are able to get out of it and since I already had the 12-60mm I thought why not?

Interior of the all-purpose room of a 17th century Nordic farmhouse. Beds at extreme right and left (small!), open hearth for heat & cooking in the center of the room (no chimney; smoke goes out a hole directly above the hearth with a beam projecting from above my position to hold a cooking pot (I think such a cook structure is called a "crane"). The long table for eating, gossip, singing, just talking. There's a fiddler standing at the far right. When the projector went on to put people along the table, there was also fiddle music and not-quite-understandable conversation piped in.
