Yes. Once converted to B+W, turned out better than could have been expected.

I don't remember for sure. I will attempt hand-holding with a TV that long, generally taking multiple images hoping one will have minimal shake-blurring. But if possible I'll brace against anything available, and I think I put the camera up against a door frame to get that image. The doors in these buildings from the 1600's are small in all direction, but especially vertically, a squeeze-through for me, just within the limits set by osteoarthritis.
