It was a beautiful 82F sunny day here the last day of January and I decided to try a few x10 landscapes in the blindingly brilliant light, using only the optical viewfinder, since the LCD is worthless in this kind of light.
Though it takes a little adjustment in getting used to it, the optical viewfinder is clear and bright, and stays in focus as you zoom in or out.
I used it all day, and have no complaints at all. It worked flawlessly!

I've heard a few complain that it doesn't display information...but if you know what you have set, it's not that important.
The lens hood does get in the view at certain focal lengths, but isn't really any obstacle in composing the shot.
So...if anyone is wondering....it works great for me, and probably would for most others too. Sure beats shooting blind!
Best Regards!
