rangefinder - voigtlander R3A or R3M

So i've been fiddling with the idea of getting a rangefinder for some time.

I thought of the contax G2 but don't really need the auto focus and limited lens choices.

Now the voigtlander R3 is top of my list as I like the 1:1 finder.

One question remains. If you were getting a voigtlander, would you go for the R3A or R3M?

p.s. I know this is not a pentax post, but I would like the opinion from other pentaxians, not voigtlandians

Are you comfortable shooting fully Manual or would you prefer to have aperture priority?

There's your answer

I was seriously considering the R3 some time back and decided that the R3A was the better choice at the time. On the other hand, the R3M more closely matches my shooting style. The answer for me was to buy a Canon P and a clutch of FSU rangefinders.

The only downside to the R3A as far as I know is that it relies on batteries to operate.
