Sloppy wording. How about "High ISO is noisy"?

Tripod, long exposure, low ISO, low light works fine.

This is exactly why it's really stupid to base your camera buying decisions on internet forums. There are about 3 or 4 good review sites out there that will give you balanced reviews. The two comments I always just read right past are "it's a soft" and "noisy at whatever iso." The "it's a bit soft" one always makes me laugh. What the heck is a "bit?" People posting on forums have a bias. I do so does everyone else, but some people really get their underwear in a twist if you don't love the camera they love. Whatever.

You know there's a [small] part of me that has always wanted to be a troll on certain other websites. I would post some ad mechinem comment about some Canon camera under a little-used username, then come back under my real username with some popcorn in hand and giggle at the responses.

I think that would make me a troll.
