Pentax is going to have problems moving a 24MP FF @ higher prices.

When in stock Canon sells 5D Mark II refurbs for $1,760

Canon Direct Store- EOS 5D Mark II Body Refurbished

I got my 5D II just before Christmas 2011 for $1999 bundled with $740 in B&H goodies.
I guess that means my 5D II cost me $1,260 had I paid for the included goodies?

Canon and Nikon best prices of the year always occur a couple weeks prior to Christmas.

By Christmas Eve the best price deals have passed.

In 9 more months I'll buy more gear from Canon or Nikon.
Being able to predict the deals allows me to plan and budget.

There was a code that made the refurbished camera 1500 a couple of months back.

....about the same price as a new DA*50-135 Pentax lens under the new Pentax Pricing. I can't see how Pentax can get in the FF game with lenses that cost more than the Competitions FF bodies? I thought it couldn't get much worse than Hoya......but it appears I was wrong.
