Wide enough for you Bimjo? If it's anything like the Pentax version this will be a really nice lens indeed.
Haha, I've already got a DA 10-17 I can use for fishy stuff. The Samsung would be considerably smaller on the NEX for sure though, and I may eventually get one.

I'm saving my pennies and waiting to see what the Sony UWA zoom offering is going to be. The CV12 is certainly in the running, as would be any UWA zoom that Sigma or Tamron come up with. I'm in no particular hurry. Heck, I may just decide to bite the bullet and get the UWA adapter for the Sony 16.

It may come down to a coin flip.

Maybe Pentax will start selling enough cameras that we will see Tamron & Voigtlander offering more option. The new EVIL cameras are starting a revival of MF lenses.

Not sure if that was your point, but you realise the new S-K is AF?

I realize that the new one are AF. I had mentioned Voigtlander in the post and that was who I was referring to.

Because Schneider said they were making a series of 'mirrorless' lenses, not specifically Micro Four Thirds lenses, and frankly this lens makes far more sense on an APS format.

Shouldn't be too hard to gen a DA-XS version for K-01 family, with most of the guts inside the body. How about a pancake 14/2?

Q&A with Schneider Kreuznach | Photo Rumors

What cameras does the lens fit? The lens fits all Panasonic and Olympus m43 cameras. It also fits some Leica models when using an adapter provided by the manufacturer. Contrary to some reports in international forums and on photo websites, an adaptation to Sony’s E-Mount is not planned.

It's ugly anyway.

And it ain't wide enough.

The M4/3 system is very similar to the Pentax -110 except for the M43 > very convenient short register, allowing adaptors.
I finally have my $15 Pentax-110 1;2.8 18mm tuned up with adaptor and i am very pleased with it on M43.
Questions:
1. Were there 'other" off brand quality lenses ever made for the Pentax-110?
2. Did any other camera brand have a 17mm by 13mm film format like the Pentax-110?
3. If so were there quality lenses made for those formats?
