looks like a P&S with a interchangeable mount lens... a Canon version of the Q in fact.

Nothing exceptional i bet, but with the power of advertising of canon, i bet it will become such a great camera to many people.

But, but, it doesn't have an EVF. Or a swivel screen.

22mm F2 macro? That's a surprising focal length for an APS-C macro lens. You'd squash the bugs and get pollen all over the lens wouldn't you? 43mm is a small thread size too. I wondered whether 22mm was a "normal" length, which would suggest a sensor size close to m4/3.

Nice looking camera, though.

It does suggest even smaller than m4/3 since they typically target a 50 mm or so equivalent. Sounds closer to the Sony 1" sensor for size that the Nikon J1 uses (and the Sony RX100)

The objective lens looks too small to be a 22mm F2.0 lens covering an APS-C sensor image circle.
Pentax 21mm F3.2 :

I also think the 1" sensor, since that would make it a nicely 60mm/f2 wich would make it like our 40mm pancake on our K-01, but one lightstop extra (wich you also need for that small sensor).

Combining this info with the tamron new lenses for 1"sensor, makes sense.

HA, the comments on that site are so reminiscent of what people were saying on here when Pentax launched the K01. "Waaahh! I wanted them to make an X-Pro 1!"

You know what - just buy a f***ing X-Pro 1...

But if you compare the hot shoe width with the sensor width, the sensor is wider than the hot shoe; so it definitely looks larger than 1" or even m4/3 sensor:

So it looks more like a APS-C sensor on that picture.
