That is some clean b & w images twitch. Really digging the contrast and the comp. I hate muddy b & w images. Contrast Contrast Contrast.

I love doing Macros, tiny DOF shots and the occasional landscape shot, so i will keep my K-5 for specialty things. But for day to day, family, party, restaurant, street shots, etc, its not very fun.

Speaking from personal experience, I found that lugging around a mirrorless (NEX-5) with several lenses plus external flash etc isn't that much of an improvement over hauling around a regular DSLR.

Cameras in the Rx-100/S100 form-factor, however, are truly more compact and luggable.

(And rather than taking all my lenses, by planning ahead I choose one lens and on occasion might take an additional lens.) With the NEX I don't have to sacrifice image quality or bear the burden of a DSLR. However there are times when I don't even feel like taking the NEX or the V1. Good thing I have an XZ-1.

Agreed, I usually take a lens of the day approach, or I take one additional in my pocket. Cargo shorts make a great case. I really would like one of these RX100s, but with the upcoming 16-50 G series pancake zoom, I'm thinking my NEX-5N will become nearly as pocket-able. The price will likely be about the same; tough choice.

I would love a 5N myself...but I cannot do that to myself.
If i got another interchangeable lens camera, especially one that can be used with M glass, the party's over!
