You have to gimp something on a low end body. On the D600 it's the flash, and AF, and memory slot etc.

Even fewer megapixels than the 5D2?
That won't look good on the showroom floor.

The D600 looks the winner in this particular contest.

Somehow the lifespan of the shutter (100k) doesn't seem much for a camera twice as expensive then a K-5. I don't think the megapixelcount is any problem since it is more then enough to make a good large print.

I take this as a hoax... body covered wit a magnesium alloy?

"Body as big as an APS C body". What APS-C camera???
There s a huge difference betweer the 7D and the Rebel... Marketingwise it should have been "body as small as.."
(And the 7D is not that much smaller than teh D600)

Well, the text has been translated from japanese, that's why it's approximate.

And yeah, maybe it's a fake, we'll see a few days

Well if the image is true... I just compared this 6D with the APS 7D... Made and overlay in photoshop and the 6D seems marginally smaller than the 7D ( I tried to overlay the mounts exactly and then looked at the contours of the cameras, did not work out as I wanted it to be but in the end the camera shown in this thread indeed is comparable in size with the 7D)

Plausible, though I think they would jack up the AF a bit....and doubtful about wifi and GPS. I shoot with the 5D2 though and find that using the centerpoint is quite effective. If I were shooting sports, I might want something better, but I don't shoot sports.

To me, this means the great value FF is the 5D2. You can already get it for $1750 refurb (I bought mine refurb and it was indistinguishable from new) and a 6D will means it may drop further. It's a fine camera. Really, they're all fine cameras. What's more important is the person behind it anyway.
