I got a 1d mark iin with 85k on the count for 400 bucks.
has 2 batteries and all the good stuff and looks to be not beat up at all

That's not a bad deal at all, if you plan on using it for action photography!

$400 for a 8 year old, 8 megapixel camera is OK, I guess, depending on what you want to do with it.

A quick search shows these selling for generally 600-700, depending on condition.

APS-H sensor.

Professional build, professional AF capability, fast framerate.

Seems like a pretty good deal for an outdoor sports shooter.

If you got the charger with it, that's a great deal. The menu system is a trip, but not too hard and the AF is amazing.

One used one recently popped up near me

Is this camera's AF really that spectacular? I recently used a Nikon D90 and was very impressed by it's autofocus, and I've been looking into something to add that can help me fill that gap
