I was checking which pics to post and then came across a random comparison I shot a couple of months back - nothing scientific.

Of course, post can bring some greater commonality. But, it's interesting, OOC the Merrill seems warmer. It clearly has significantly greater microcontrast -- one might almost say grittiness -- than the Quattro in the face and shirt. Quattro seems to have greater DR.

Quattro presents a pleasing image, but the Merrill a more distinctive, more Merrill, image...
