I wonder if Panasonic could add ext-mic support through the viewfinder interface, like Olympus does with the SEMA microphone adapter.

I don't personally care, but many video people do.

It seems like a great camera so far, but we will need to see if the sensor is a step forward for Panasonic and if it out preforms the Sony made Olympus sensor.

If they offered IBIS and focus peaking during video as well as high bitrates then I would probably be all over this camera (don't really need a mic jack as I tend to record audio separately). Instead I'll probably just wait and pick up a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema for video. I'm pretty happy with my K-01 for stills at the moment and I love my Limiteds but may think about the Fuji XM1 (brown and silver body looks pretty snazzy). Other than that the GX7 does seem like an excellent CSC.
