So what are your opinions on how well the FF Nex will fare against the Canikon FF models? Anyone?

Apparently they are going to come out with 3 FF primes at launch, i.e. native e-mount FF. And they probably will have an adapter to allow use of A-mount zooms in AF mode. But thats a far cry from the lenses available to Canikon owners.

BUT, there may be attributes/features that appeal to enthusiasts who also are reluctant to part with big bucks for some FF Canikon lenses. In my experience for example, the Nex 5n and 6, are easier to use for macro than my K5. But my K5 is better for theater use.

I hope Sony carves out a niche for themselves with the FF Nex, just because the competition will cause lower prices from Canikon and more features, but i have no idea how this foot race is going to pan out.
