Some weeks using the A7 and I can confirm that manual focus lenses works well enough with this device. I am not using peaking at all. I find it less precise than magnification, which I feel very much comfortable with. That said, I would like to share some (already known) observations:
1. I see there's a lag in the shutter. Nothing extreme, but there it is.
2. I find also some problems with light reflection on the corners. I knew this could happen with the models prior to the A7II/A7rII, but it is not that frequent anyway.
3. Handling is fine, but except for the lovely Pentax M 40mm, the adapter and the Pentax lenses combo makes everything a bit awkward too. I can live with it, but now I begin to lust for some vöigtlander M-mount glass.
