Nice.

All those features (WR, 8fps etc) stolen from Pentax

Use a Fuji Camera and see how the spec. sheet translates into actual performance - based on my experience there is a big gap. "Worlds fastest" AF and tracking with 8fps? Yeah right.

Apparently they have now eclipsed the previous "Worlds fastest" focusing camera which, according to Fuji, was the X-E2. Now if you have actually used a X-E2 you will quickly realise how much arrogant BS is in their spec. sheet claims. The operating performance of Fuji cameras is below average when it comes to the mirror-less competition, not to mention DSLRs. Their marketing department performance though...well that is as good as it gets!

Sure is handsome! I can't see any real edge over the Oly E-M1, but for Fuji fans it appears to be an appreciative advancement. Price is good....might sell very well! I could be tempted. ....heck, I am tempted!

Regards!

An enticing sensor technology inside a sexy looking shell. Pretty much all lenses adaptable and Focus Peaking in the VF. It looks like it's going to be this instead of the K-3 or A7. Now, if they'd only follow it up with an FF version...

Wow, it's extremely pretty! I don't like Fuji's motorized focus lenses though.

Nice to hear the price is more reasonable than when the XP1 was introduced. The lens selection is looking really good too. But some of those new zooms are looking pretty large on this X-T1. And I agree you have to divide Fuji's market speak by a factor to get actual performance. And I wonder if those focus speed numbers they are boasting apply to all their lenses or any lens at all. The lens is the other half of the focus speed equation on the cameras I have used.

I have to say, this is exactly the kind of Camera I was hoping Pentax would make.
Well, with in-body SR and K-mount. Those are practically a must for Pentax.

Agreed, that's what I've been hoping for too.

Actually, considering the registration point on the K-mount, you might not want that.

I do hope Pentax changes their mount if the continue on the mirrorless road but with the hope that next to the additional lenses, they also offer an adapter for k-mount - just like they did for the Q.

Well, a K-mount version would be a little thicker, similar to the K-01. No problem there, especially if Pentax makes some more compact XS lenses. To me, a thick body with a pancake is more "compact" (pocketable, easy to bag) than a tiny body with protruding lenses

Is anyone using K lenses on Fuji cameras? Is anyone planning to use them on this new camera?
