So, I am currently facing an issue between purchasing a X100 Limited Edition, or an X100S from my local camera shop. The issue comes from that the price for the X100 is $899 AUD new, including the limited edition box including filter ring, lens hood, Fujifilm filter, leather case and other miscellaneous goodies. On the otherhand, the X100S is being sold for $1300, without any of the exciting accessories. Take into account, I buy local because the owners of the shop are both helpful and friendly. Anyway, thanks in advance for any advice!

Assuming there is some good reason you wouldn't want the X-T1, and if it is just price, that X100 deal sounds very sweet to me. However, you should do some research on reviews of the X100s and the improvements Fuji has made to it. They seem impressive enough to me that I think I would have to go for it over the X100. That difference in price does make it a tough decision. For me, it would not really make any difference at all in reality....I could take crummy shots with either one, and surely would!

Unless there is something specific from the x100s you need I would get the x100 in a heartbeat. Plus some people perfer it to the x100s sensor wise.

The x100 however is well known for its sticky aperture and also neck strap lugs that easily wear out. Google those issues. There are people who have had to send their camera to fuji more than once. Just like sdm you never know if the aperture issue is blown out of proportion or not though. One reason I didn't buy the x100 but bought the x100s. To me accessories don't matter. The camera is pure joy to use and totally worth it.
