Originally posted by Rondec They won't compete with each other at all. The A7 series is a full frame camera with OK frame rate, decent auto focus, but nothing earth shattering. Its claim to fame is that it has a full frame sensor in a pretty small body. On the other hand, the V3 is a small sensored camera with a lot faster auto focus and frame rate. It should be easier for the V3 to auto focus, because it will have more depth of field in general.
I was comparing apples to oranges, obviously!
I thought it was an interesting camera.
The Sony A7 looks more interesting though, as it allows for using Pentax glass on a "full frame" (did I say that word ?? !!
).
I was considering this Sony until I read about this infamous "light leak" ...
And as always, I am looking for a great IQ'd small camera with a viewfinder.
Being able to use my Pentax glass would be a plus.
Anyway, that was my "find of the day".
