Fuji Instax

Anybody got a Fuji Instax camera? I just ordered a used Neo Classic 90 from Amazon. Looking forward to some instant gratification. I know at least one person here has one of these. Anybody else?

Yes. I got an Amazon Warehouse deal. There were several available.

Also I saw one on Craigslist today, but the seller wanted more than the cost of a new one. So yes there are used copies available.

Also just realized that the Fuji Share printer is due this month.

I've noticed them, have some interest, and hope you can add more info when you get yours. I love any kind of Toy Cameras and in particular a Fuji!

Regards!

I love mine, I also have a 90 and it was a *huge* hit on a recent cruise with a large group of people. I took dozens of photos and handed the out to my friends, they absolutely loved it.

It's a great little party camera.

First pics

Got my instax today and here are the first pics I took:

The kids had a blast watching the pics develop. I can tell this is gong to be a huge hit at parties and gigs. The camera seems made for portraits. It is easiest to hold in portrait orientation and the film seems to have a nice smoothing effect to the skin tones.

Plus it is just plain fun to shoot and watch the pic come out of the top and develop before your eyes.

I don't know why on earth I would want one of those...but I do! I like your shots, they are definitely "Toy Camera" shots, but that makes them all the better!
I'm still thinking of a reason to buy one......maybe it is time for a new camera for Mrs Rupert?

Regards!

Thanks Rupert. The pictures definitely look better than the scans.

I am having a good time taking pictures of people and giving them the picture. It is enjoyable to give a photograph instead of taking a photograph.

Yep. Here is some more instax gratification. I gave these pics to the parents and took these pics with my iPhone. There is a bit of glare from something, I couldn't figure out how to get rid of it.
