Doh, that review site's mobile page is broken - no review, just the score...7.8, I guess they didn't like it. Ben will you be doing a review?

I don't think I'll be trading in my K-01 for this.

Weird, it's loading for me.

I won't be doing a review, since my coworker TJ covered this one. I have handled it, though, and I agree with everything he wrote here.

Interesting. Feels kind of expensive for an APS-C camera, whether or not it has the Leica name on it. Why you would get this versus the Nex 6, I'm not sure. I guess if you have money to spare and feel like the interface/Leica-ness of the camera is worth it.

basically it's just a APS-C P&S with Leica mount.

A lovely camera. Perhaps that 23mm lens is remarkable.
Pricey, yes. But, considering it is made in small runs, machined from block of aluminium, and that it has a lot of new technology in it (new custom made software and UI, etc) it is not totally unreasonable. There is lots of investments gone into this.
On the other hand, what Hasselblad does with Sony's cameras, well, that is unreasonable, and laughable.
Leica's T, at least, is original and honest. And honesty is never cheap.

I am losing more and more respect for Leica each year.

The best thing about this camera is that you can use your nose for changing setting when using EVF.
You might need too, in the winter when wearing gloves

So does that mean there will be a cheaper model with the Panasonic label?

The 18-56mm kit is actually pretty remarkable. But then again, it had better be for $1750.

Agreed!

Might make sense for someone who already owns a few Leica lenses and wants something small, stylish, and doesn't mind the price tag.
