Canon having big sale during Vivid Sydney

I dropped by into Canon HQ last night and they are holding a big sale on just about their entire range of camera gear and photo printers during Vivid (but only from Canon HQ - I asked).

Some great prices on bodies and lenses, I was so tempted.

I am brand agnostic, or brand promiscuous, depending on your perspective. I have own/used equipment from most of the brands. Canon? 1D Mk III, 1D Mk IV, 1DS Mk II (I think)

I think some people on this forum think camera brands are like football clubs, you can only be a supporter of one

For me, the entire industry is ripe for the picking. Brand is not a constraint, cost (up to a limit) is also not a constraint, the only constraint is (my) time. I always ask myself - do I see myself using this? If yes, I buy, if not, I don't.

BUT i finally settled on Canon as my DSLR ...well for now, i hear Nikon calling in the distance

It's a pop up store in The Rocks, next to Foundation Park.You can't miss it - lots of Canon people handing out flyers. You can print photos for free there (I didn't bother) as well as enter into a few competitions (I grabbed the briefs, to be honest can't be bothered).
