Died of gunshot wounds? Otis tells those Newbie squirrels not to play with their guns, but inevitably some don't listen!

Got a baby raccoon last night! They are the cutest little guys! Friendly too!

X20 + Pentax 540 flash.

A couple of neat things on the X20...it will focus in total darkness...and it s will sync the flash up to 1/4000. Both of those things make it very handy for night shooting or daylight fill flash on a bright day.

Regards!

Pretty amazing little camera Rupert. Do you have names for these guys yet? (btw, last time I checked, raccoons were not squirrels )

At first glance, this may not seem like a squirrel shot...

...but upon closer examination:

Hey Paul...I saw him right away...I have squirrel radar in each eye!

No names for the raccoons. I'm already too close to about a million squirrels!

Regards!

HEY RUPERT??? This is a squirrel thread.....is there something you missed about that? What the hell are you doing posting a raccoon here? Did you get a brain cramp or have you just gone renegade? Have a little respect for your fellow posters that want to see handsome squirrels and not foul smelling raccoon bandits.
You won't be warned again, I have a personal relationship with the Mods...they don't like you much anyhow... and will get you banned if you try this stunt again, count on it!

No Regards

No...I am smart enough not to tangle with Otis, it never works out in my favor. So....

To my friends and fellow posters in this thread, a very sincere apology for posting that "nasty foul smelling" baby raccoon, and no...he wasn't a match for a handsome baby squirrel, I do admit.
I make this apology of my own free will and am under no duress or threats to destroy the wiring in my little TT or Jeep. I just make it because I am old, dumb, and ugly and should have checked where I posted. It won't happen again! Promise!

Best Regards!
Rupert

Whoa!

Farquardt here hasn't quite figured out how to stabilize the new feeder. He gets tired out trying to scramble up the waxed pole.

Shouldn't that sign read "An Army of Squirrels"?

Hi Tina!

My first shot with my new Bigma 50-500 HSM OS was required by Otis to be a squirrel. He was in a serious meeting planning world domination or world destruction.....I forget, I think on Fridays it is world destruction, but I can't keep up with his busy schedule.

He sent out this little girlie squirrel so I could get a quick first snap. She seemed more interested in eating than in world destruction or posing, but I did at least get the first shot using a squirrel for the subject.

I'm gonna love this lens!

Regards!
