Canon G7X - Canon's response to the RX100?

Both are fantastic.

It's a great situation to be in, to be so spoilt for choice.

I like the G7X for compact size, the LX100 for the better features.

Like many others, I'm looking forward to comparisons with the Sony RX100. I'm still a fence-sitter on upgrading my Canon S95, previously undecided between the Ricoh GR and RX100. The GR has the best interface IMO but sacrifices zoom.

The G7X specs show it as barely larger and heaver than the RX100 mark3. I expected it to be a little smaller given no hotshoe and viewfinder. The size difference is negligible and it's still a tiny camera, but I'm surprised that the G7X didn't come in smaller than the RX100.
