Using old Vivitar lenses on a Sony E-Mount

Folks
I inherited a bunch of old lenses from my father with the following identifiers:
1. Vivitar 28mm 1:1.25 Auto Wide-Angle No: 22335900 62mm
2. Vivitar 135mm 1:1.28 Auto Telephoto No: 28317295 55mm
3. Vivitar MC Tele Converter 2x-5
4. MC Rokkor-pf 1:17 f=55mm 2924100 Minolta. This last one is mounted on a Minolta SRT101 right now

I have a Sony ILCE-QX1 and want to use these lenses on that camera. It's an e-mount which comes with a separate t-adapter.

Could someone advise what kind of adapters I need please ? And if anyone had any thoughts about these lenses, that would be great. I am a total newbie.

Kind regards,
Brocade

Based on the fact that you've got a definite Minolta mount lens there, I'd say that the other lenses are likely Minolta mount as well. Look up the Fotodiox Minolta to E-mount adapters - I've used Fotodiox adapters with good results.

I would expect the best results out of the Rokkor. Stopping the Vivitars down a bit should produce acceptable results.

ETA: You get more answers on a forum that has more to do (or anything to do) with Sony and E-mount lenses. I would suggest posting on DPReview's E-mount board.

you have to know what mount is on the lens before doing anything.

if all of the mounts are the same as the lens on the minolta, it's simple, like powasky says.

in case they aren't minolta lens mount:
