1st roll of film for 2015

Decided to try out my FED3 with some of the Lomography Early Grey film, 1st time I have used film in nearly 10 years!

Results are OK but very grainy for a ISO100 film.

Got some of their CINE film to try next, as well as some 110 stuff for my Pentax Auto 110.

Sadly I have to get the Lomography shop to develop them for me, got shot of my stuff when I lost the use of the colleges facilities, but was pleased with their service, saved me scanning them in as well!

Cheers, Steve

It's always nice to see film shots in my opinion. I have a few rolls on the go but haven't finished one yet in 2015.

There is a quite joy with film, the fact you are not really sure what you are getting until the film is finished is quite exciting, using a camera without a light meter is a bit of a challenge!
I'm quite looking forward to using the 110 stuff, got to keep my eye out for a 120 camera going cheap but just bought another 110... so got the Pentax Auto 110 with the 3 initial primes and the Minolta 110 SLR Zoom Mk1 woops!

Cheers, Steve

Black and white has a certain magic. Your shots are most refreshing.

Develop those pre-visualization skills. Are you shooting with the Sunny 16 Rule? If so, I'd adjust it to the Sunny 11 rule for your latitude and probably always if you want more shadow detail.

I have a b&w film in my camera for some months and it's not finished yet. Shame on me!
But I will try (risk) to develop it at home.

Thanks for the comments, Will try the Sunny 11 rule next time.
This was more of a exercise to see if the camera worked, which it does

I put this one through the Nik Collection just for fun, didn’t turn out half bad IMO, tad off focus.

Cheers, Steve
