I've still got shots I haven't really looked at from Paris earlier in the year. Here are a few with the Fujifilm X-M1 and DA 40mm.

This one was hand held at 1/15s and base ISO (200) so I'm amazed it came out so sharp. Got to love those Fuji colours.

Trying out the M 50mm f/1.7 that came with a broken ME Super and some A lenses earlier in the month. This copy is in virtually mint condition, so I may get rid of the older one I have.

Jonathan, those are very nice. Are the shots SOOC JPEG's or did you take RAW images and develop them yourself? If JPEGs, which color profile are you using? Thanks.

They're not SOOC but I didn't do much to them. A bit of extra sharpening in the second one as it was shot wide open. Colour was default and I'm not sure about the colour balance, I think I warmed them up a bit.

Any of you guys been able to find the lens turbo for K mount? Apparently one existed for the Fuji X cameras but I can't find one . I was wanting to try one out with a XE-1 with my old primes.

On the the Zhongyi site I can see a K for Sony NEX, but the options are more sparse for Fuji cameras.

For some reason I always want to have a small camera to carry around, usually it's my MX or Contax G1.But I realized that I've spent too much on film and developing.
So I brought a old X100 this week, JPEG is not bad, but the autofocus is really slow...

Nice shots, and I think B&W with this camera is quite good for digital.

I haven't really used the Minolta Rokkor 35-70mm f/3.5 zoom despite having it for quite some time, the primes always seem to get used instead.

Here it is at around 50mm, wide open on the X-M1.

Last weekend on the Dallas Divide near Telluride, Colorado, the fall color was fading... the light was hazy and wrong... many of my K-1 images were spoiled after I accidentally selected Multi-Exposure. And when it was almost time to head back home, all this came together. By then, I was using my Fuji X-Pro1 with its standard kit 18-55 lens. With one barely-used control dial and few modes and features, it just works.

You have to attach a Canon mount and use the EF speedy/FR.

I did the same thing. I personally like the x100. The most recent version of the firmware makes things MUCH better, but it isn't perfect. I know the x100s and t fix these issues and when those are $400.00 listed on KEH with a warranty I'll probably pick one up.
