The new camera looks nice but I still feel that all the video niceties in the world still don't compensate for the fact that they want €3000 for an APS-C camera. The K-3 III is too expensive for APS-C at "only" €2000 and is what really pushed me into FF mirrorless.

As for the other announcements:

The big zoom could be handy but at f/5.6-8 it's very slow and that will really limit it's usefulness to use in very good light.
The 18-120mm f/4 looks like a nice lens for both photo and video and I suppose negates the need for the older (but not old) 18-80mm, it's just a shame that Fujifilm cheaped-out and didn't add an aperture ring.
The 30mm f/2.8 macro is a very welcome addition to the line-up. A normal prime that does macro is one of the most useful lenses there is - there's always, always something you can shoot with such a lens, no matter where you are.
8mm f/3.5 will interest some, it's too wide for me.
An updated 56/1.2 will please a lot of people. Presumably it'll be faster-focusing, which was the big complaint about the older one, and will help stop the rush to Viltrox/Tokina 56mm f/1.4s (a very fine lens).

the biggest thing I don't care for on the X-H1 is how the exposure compensation is a complicated button-plus-dial set up.... I miss the simple dial from the X-T2....

I see they are moving further away from the dials on top.....

The intriguing Q,is which of the 2 sensors comes in those models.
I think one of the sensors will only appear in one body.
There is this substantial price hike for stacked sensors. I would guess its +$1000 surcharge for an APSC and +$2000 for a FF sensor in stacked version - just for this single component.

I would not expect Fuji to smack this sort of surcharge on any other line of bodies as it would kill their sales for very minor practical advantages for 98+% of their users.

40mp is definitely in the XH2,I'd expect the Pro4 and T5 to have it as well. All these bodies will be 1800-2200 I'm guessing.

The smaller, less feature packed "el Cheap" bodies S20(assuming they continue it) T40/E5 may not have the 40mp.Its been suggested, to keep the price down, they continue with the present sensor with the updated processor.

We will find out a bit more in September officially and sooner through the rumours and leaks.

Only with the H and S bodies which are now the same as CaNikOny, T..Pro..E will continue with the normal Fuji set ups.

The H is a following on from the GFX 100s and 50s mk2(same shape).H is just a smaller version.

By having the 2 flagship H models similar to all the other camera set ups, itseasier to entice people to switch brands when they see a Fuji model just like the camera they own.

Canon has the highest current apsc resolution at 32mp right? Anyone heard anything about how easy/difficult it is to take full advantage of all those pixels on a apsc sensor?

I’m worried that the 40 Mega pixel sensor may be quite taxing on the computer in saving and editing taking up a horrendous amount of valuable hard drive space.

I had the 90D and it was great for me on a tripod taking photos of items for my website but I found it difficult to use outside that with prime lenses because it has no IBIS (and they have no image stabilisation) so I was always disappointed with the results. I was also a member of the 90D FB group and I wasn't alone with most advice being shoot in better light, use a higher shutter speed and get the better quality lenses.
It seems great for wildlife/birds etc. shooting, but that wasn't what I wanted it for so I got a KP (I get far sharper and cleaner images) instead and traded the 90D in for a lightly used K1 to use in my "studio".

The 90D dslr and M6 mk2 both has the original 32 mp sensor, there would be plenty of Forums on its quality.

The newest version thats been modified by Canon, appears in the R7.From what Ive seen(its very early days) the stills look pretty good and they were only jpgs.

The 40mp Fuji may require the latest lenses because I recall that an official said (quite a while ago)that the glass was designed to resolve up to 32mp.

Its just wait and see till September when we get our first look at the H2.

This is a follow up conference in Nth America to the Summit in Japan.

The Japanese summit was difficult in parts to understand. Many hard to understand accents and some subtitles.

This one goes over the new body and lenses.

I'll pile in, I like the 28 better too. They both look really good. I'd guess half the people at this forum are using their Fujis to take advantage of vintage Takumar and Pentax lenses. The old FF lenses were optimized for central sharpness and clarity, and all we use is the center! Also, I think that what objectively could be considered defects enhance the image. The 28 picture actually seems to have some black fringing especially where the purple of the flower shows against the light siding which gives it a better 3d effect. They are both really nice lenses, and the prices on old Takumars and Pentaxes are hitting a sweet spot. Get them now, before they turn into collector's items and disappear into locked cabinets.
