Tamron to expand their X mount Zooms.

At present theres the 18-300 and 17-70 but soon a telephoto zoom is likely to be announced.

The 150-500mm,its available in E mount so shouldn't be too far off.

Also a wide angle zoom is on the radar too.Very likely to be the 11-20mm.

The plastic mount 50-230 can be had pretty cheaply and does a great job IF you have reasonable light.
I had one for awhile and it was fantastic for a $200 dollar used lens. The photo's were sharp and rendering very good. Sometimes I wonder why I ever got rid of it.

I bought one new for around that, then the cash back from Fuji started and the 2nd copy was around 125U$.Both series 2.Then a great deal came up and I got a series one for what I reckon was free because it and 2 other lenses came with a body and I paid what I can sell the body for.Actually come to think of it, I have another series 2 in black as well that came with a used body.I seriously should sell some of the stuff I have!

Some people write it off for the plastic mount and the fact it won't AF in poor light, but, it makes up for the shortcomings when the light is good.Ive seen some owners sell their 55-200 metal mount thats faster because they thought the 230 images were better. The 55-200 costs around 3 times the 230(from my experience).

A day off - I visited the state botanical gardens with my friend - and we enjoyed an afternoon of photography. I had just received a new lens - the 18-55 Fuji zoom. and it behaved quite nicely.

I had both cameras on me, the fuji (with zoom), and my Pentax K1ii with the 100mm macro. - and between both, they made for a lovely pairing.

Pentax 110 lenses on Fuji

A long time ago in the Q section I read about these OLD film era lenses on the Q bodies. There was also mention of them working well with M43.

So owning both I thought why not try them.

In my search for adapters I noticed there were ones for X mount available and thought, well its half size film why wouldn't they work with ApsC.I have one of my old Fuji bodies permanently set up with the adapter but I have to get another adapter due to one lens permanently stuck on(bugA).

Now,the fellow who made this video is a forum member here and has quite a few Pentax videos but this is the first Ive seen with Fuji(I will look closer at his work seeing Ive subscribed).

Yes, I've just found out there's an adapter for the 110 on the Fuji. I don't mind the vignette and the chromatic aberrations (if any the CA adds to the appeal). I regret selling my 110 set to help fund my X-T10 upgrade. quite honestly, though, I'm a bit disappointed with the 110's when I used them with the pentax Q earlier this year. I had a kern paillard Yvar that's way older and takes night and day difference in over all image quality and it's hard not to compare the images I got.

I've not totally given up on the idea of a 24mm 110 lens on my fuji. One advantage is that the adapter for the fuji is also small! It's not as thick as the lens like the P110 to PTXQ where the adapter is nearly twice the size of the lens, defeating its purpose of size. Unfortunately, I have a similar 7artisan lens that's also quite small and light. So I can't justify spending and looking for another 110 set. They're harder to come by on ebay UK now.

If any, I'm actually on the hunt for the 110 Pan-Focus lens...but the price hurts at £80 up! I could get a super takumar for that price.

I've just seen that TTArtisan have released a 25mm f/2 lens as of the beginning of the month. I'm curious how it'll stack up, size-wise, to the 23mm f/1.4 because I'm tempted to get one or the other...
