A whole new range of lenses announced today by Zeiss (manual focus only) for Canon and Nikon platforms. Looks very interesting.

Nice sample shots on Flickr. The ones I noticed wide open were still darn sharp. Still, all the lenses are over $1,000, for manual focus, ouch.

And... Mulva? Mulva? :-)

The recent output under the Zeiss brand has been impressive.

Cosina Zeiss, I guess, are doing this lineup, as different from Tamron Zeiss for the Batis/ Otus etc.
