Hi All. Just noticed this thread. I got my Mavic 2 Pro and Smart Controller about three years back with some input from this forum. Have loved it for taking aerial photos. I originally bit the bullet on buying it to capture construction photos of our church addition going up (along with K-1 photos at the ground level), but my main thing with it is probably mountain area shooting and other scenes that lend themselves (95%+ stills). Here are a couple of shots from my collection.

The Mavic 2 Pro has a good camera (non-zoom model) but slightly flaky software (in the controller). I think the software has been improved since my purchase, but I've never upgraded because of some of the restrictions DJI (the manufacture) has built into later versions. One thing I like is the ability to download shots (when it works) to the SD card in the controller so I don't have to pull the drone SD card for transfers.

Anyway, will try to tune in to this thread from time to time and check out everyone's photos which are looking amazing so far.

Sunset, yesterday. Air 2S

Just after the sun went down. The black buildings are in Sandy Springs, I believe, and in the center is downtown Atlanta, 20+ miles from the wide-angle lens on my drone @400ft AGL.

That Air 2s is excellent for stills. No one tempted by the mini 3 yet. I'm seeing better stills from that than the 2 but still not up to the Air 2s 1 inch sensor?

This one it's a video frame took with my DJI Mini 2 during a sailing regatta on the Como Lake, where I am the 'official photographer' and from this year also
the 'official drone pilot'

I haven't used the drone too much over the last year, enough so that flying it and orienting it is pretty natural now, I'm not pushing the stick the wrong way any more and I'm comfortable enough with it so that if I lose sight of it, I don't feel any panic and losing sight of it is kind of inevitable if you're looking down to your phone to check information or take a picture, even if if it's only briefly. I did do a survey of my roof with it, needs work, the roof, not my survey technique. I have the shadows of a dive bombing seagull on my survey, who took exception to my drone but after a few passes, he buggered off.

So now I've started to use it more as a camera platform and am trying harder to envisage what will make a good drone shot. I took two today which I'd been thinking about as possibilities and was just waiting for the right conditions, in fact I was actually out a bit late for one and perhaps a bit early for the other. The golf course shot would have benefited from a lower sun and the pit from a higher sun but still I'm seeing some promise from what I can do. I should probably have experimented more with manual exposure, especially for the pit shot but I'll do that next time.

I also ran both of these through Gigapixel AI, which made a negligible difference in these cases

Nearly missed absolutely perfect conditions for this shot this morning, which I'd eyed up some time ago. It looked slate grey out of the window and I lingered for a 2nd coffee. When I did finally get out and down to the estuary, there was a stunning temperature inversion and perfect flying conditions. I took several shots but never improved on this, the first one I took.

Manual exposure 1/320 at 200iso and this has been run through Gigapixel AI to remove the jpg artifacts.
