Panasonic LX-7. Read the early comparison reviews of it vs the early Sony rx100 carefully. I found a number that found minimal differences in quality of images or leaned to the lx7 despite the small sensor. This for example:
Real Life Testing - LX7 and RX100
There are pros and cons to each. The LX-7 is the only non-cellphone camera I took to London and Paris earlier this year.
It may not fit as easily into your pocket as the Rx100 however, and it has no built in viewfinder (nor does the early Sony) although you can buy an externally attachable viewfinder and carry it in another pocket for times when you need it.
I'm also soon trying out my new to me GX-1 with a pancake zoom or prime. I'm not sure how much the slight increase in size and the much slower zoom with the larger sensor will compare to the LX-7 in a broad range of conditions. The LX-7 Leica lens is very very good. The small sensor size and increased depth of field worked well as a travel camera for me on my trip. However having a small ILC appeals too.
