You are being sarcastic. But using JPEG is convenient. When I was using the K200D, I was shooting JPEGs, until I realized that I could tune the exposure to exactly when I wanted from the RAW without inducing JPEG artifacts.
After shooting only Raws for years, I now sometimes shoot JPEG, it's so relaxing, but of course once done, that pretty much game over in terms of tuning the image, there is only 8 bits in JPEGs.
I think, Fuji are and are going to be even more popular, because their MILC basically replace former P&S compact cameras, but with better IQ.
There is of course always the effect of joy when buying and discovering a new camera. After 6 months of use, whether you bought a new camera or not makes not difference.
