A7mk3...?

....With regularity the rumours abound.

Latest is that its 4-5 months away and will be 24mp AND same AF system as the A9.However it wont have the 20fps speed of the A9.

I'll guess a little under the price of a K1, which is ok.It'll be interesting to see what other features it'll have?

Hopefully it gets a better EVF than the previous A7.

And they improve the mechanical shutter and reduce latency. The A7II is a fine little camera in need of a good bit of refinement.

I love the EVF on my A7II. It's no OVF, but it does the job extremely well.

You like it Mike? I found it quite distracting.

I really do... though I completely understand why some don't. I'd be the first to admit that I prefer an OVF in those situations where it works well... That aside, I got used to the A7II's EVF pretty quickly, and I like the benefits it brings to certain specific applications; low light and manual focus work in particular.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I look forward to (more) cameras with hybrid OVF / EVF technology - best of both worlds

I have found the EVF on the A7II to be pretty good. In good light I prefer the K-1 OVF, but for many situations the A7II EVF is better. I think the A9 has a 120hz refresh on the EVF so it should be noticeably better.
