Damn nice cameras... and Foma's good film.

My GAS has taken a bit of a twist - I'm using old ads for their intended purpose: to generate sales. (The Minolta A-2 is the latest in this... I saw the ad and just had to get one!)

Lets bring this thread back to life . . .

Here is a Contessa Piccolette from circa 1919. It will fit in a shirt pocket and takes 127 film.

What a nifty oldie, a Contessa! Very nice.

Some more oldies to add...

Yashica Mat 124G and Ricoh Diacord

1934 Voigtlander Rollfilmkamera

1938 Certo Super Sport Dolly

1937 Voigtlander Bessa

Zeiss Box Tengor

These all take 120 film and I use each one.

There was a post with a digital P&S but someone but they deleted it. Anyway, here is my first "serious at the time" digital camera, the Nikon 5700 Coolpix. It cost more than my K200d and K20d combined.

This is the last of my film cameras, sadly:

Manufactured about 2 hours away from where I live. I REALLY need to get up to Rochester to explore the old abandoned Kodak plant this summer.

The rest of my old film stuff has mostly been sold on this forum in the past year.

Here is my Contax D with a Helios 44-2 Zebra version of the 58mm f2 lens. The D replaced the original Contax S released in 1949. The D came out ~ 1952. These had the m42 'Praktica mount later adopted by Pentax. The second images shows it next to the Pentax Asahi K released in 1958. The Pentax 'AP', Pentax S, and Pentax K differed in that they sported an instant turn mirror and thumb film advance.
