Kaizen comes to Fuji XT-2.

So as with many Fuji bodies, development of their higher end bodies mean features get passed down to older bodies via firmware updates.

So the latest update brings internal F-log recording and 120fps HD recording, something that initially arrived with the XH-1.

Word is the XT-3 is around the corner(26mp Apsc) so the XT-2 will drop in price and becomes a bang for $$$ device.

The video capability alone will satisfy most.Add in the Eterna LUT in PP and its equal to the current flagships capability.

Something the sensor was already capable of, but was not made available in the first place.

A later development, FREE upgrades which provide significant differences...Gives an improvement to XT-2 via firmware that you have to buy another body from most other makers OR pay a 25% fee for a minor improvement.

XTrans4 is coming and expected to be announced around PhotoKina time,it has 26mp, thats all we know at this stage apart from usual Apsc X mount.

Fuji gives you the upgrade for FREE because each of Fuji's software engineer worked hours for free as a non for profit action for Fuji customers.
Unless Fuji's employees don't work for free and the free firmware upgrade was already paid when customers purchased a XT2 due to its price being twice as much as the apsc cameras of the same category.

Well, its price is competitive with other top end M/L apsc/M43 cameras. However, its capability is probably a bit better.

When its compared to the top end Apsc Dslrs, the XT-2 is a lot better.
