I tell you why. I was looking at the pros and cons of higher pixel density, for my own evaluation. At least I came to a conclusion for myself, regardless of what others may think of it. My conclusion was that of course when Sony claim medium format IQ, that's marketing BS. The other thing is, the effective resolution of higher res. sensor drop quickly with increasing ISO. But, practically, I found one benefit of the higher res. sensor, that is the avoidance of moiré patterns that can occur in some cases with lower resolution sensors. Conclusion is clear, real, and easy to remember, everything else claimed by Sony, the 15ev of DR and medium format quality both are marketing lies.

I just got mine yesterday evening. I lost an argument with a pavement in London on my way to pick it up. The staff at Park Cameras helped me out with their first aid kit. Half the skin is off my elbow and knuckles.

I haven't shot with it yet, but it seems a good deal better put together than the mkIII. Buttons have more feedback and the memory card door and the doors for power and USB are much more secure.

Here's my first processed shot...accidentally left it on ISO 800 uncompressed raw files around 125mb each...
