Sigma fp?

Hello,

Just got an email announcing the Sigma fp, a mirrorless full frame. I really don't care for that but I got the email somehow...

Anyone heard of this before? Is this old news?

The Sigma fp was first presented during a press conference given by Kazuto Yamaki, Sigma Chairman and CEO, on the 11th of July 2019. A few specifications were revealed at the same time.

it was formally announced (complete specifications and price) on the 10th of October. It will be available on the 25th of October.

Well, I’m thinking about getting this. We’re talking a lot of bucks, but I’m interested in playing around with cine. Also, since I was about to drop a grand or two on new lenses anyway (APSC), I might as well step up to full frame.
