Hi all,

Browsing through the classified pages I see used digital sets, like H4D + some older back, going for €2000-€3000 these days.

Anybody else tempted, some have those 4.02 x 5.37cm sensors

I guess the focus is dog slow and iso above 100 is a no-go, so maybe not the best to make indoor family pictures

Plus the whole issue of lens mount incompatibility between V-series and H-series lenses... and on and on...

There's a great blog here about the V-mount lenses (made by Carl Zeiss, designated C/CF/CFi etc): Hasselblad Lens Review | Silver in the Dark
The H-mount lenses made by Fujinon are completely different, designated H/HC/HCD.

Hasselblad became big with V mount. The concept did not work for digital backs and H mount was not the superior quality you would expect from a Hasselblad. The Chinese had to show Hasselblad how to make electronics work. Today, Hasselblad is just another brand.

Yeap, Hasselblad literally fell from the sky (lunar landing camera) to a just another brand name.
I am worry Nikon is going to to be the same, falling from International Space Station...
I worked with both extensively.
