Hi everybody,

I am the proud owner of a Laowa 50mm/2.8 MFT Macro lens. I have it now for 2.5years
and used it seldom, but it was very nice when I used it! Most of the time it stay
in the shelf close to 20-30 friends from Pentax.

Yesterday it was my idea to use it again, but I found something that shocked me.

Has somebody seen this before? Any idea what is the reason?
What you see is not on the outside if the lens. It is inside.

Fungus? But it is dry in my apartment and I live in Germany and not in Malaysa in a rain forest!

Oil?

Lens separation?

Coating problem?

Someone good experience with Laowa service? On there homepage they claim a
warranty of 3 years and I wrote them yesterday about it. So I have some hope.

I'm afraid to say that might be due to separation. The optical formula suggests that the front element is a cemented doublet.

Yes, that is possible true. There are more lens with the same problem:

I also had short contact with the support from Laowa. They asked for a picture and serialnumber
of the lens, I send it and than you are ghosted. No answer from them anymore.

Probably not the best company to buy a lens when they destroy themself after two years, the
quality of Pentax is more than ten times better.
