They sure didn't make that much from DSLR sales

But they do make some top notch electronic devices, My Samsung computer monitor is nearly 6 years old and still works just as good as new

Both my Samsung Dslrs work perfect too. Along with the kit lenses. No problems at all.

If Samsung made them they did a fine job, or if Pentax made them for Samsung, they did a fine job.

Considering all the failures people post thesedays about their old top end Pentax K10D, I feel lucky that my old 6mp dslrs are still alive & kicking.

Yeah but you have to take in consideration that a lot more people own Pentax DSLR's than Samsung DSLR's, so you will be more likely to hear about Pentax DSLR failures.
