Ben, I have to say those are fantastic, truly. You see a lot of pro wedding work in the forums - I don't see this series as anything but professional-quality, with an artistic sensibility. Well done.

These are my faves:

Stop-in-tracks arresting - the B&W is perfect, the crowd is isolated enough to 'pop' them:

Humourous, film-like, timeless:

You don't want to miss this moment - and you didn't:

A wedding classic done right:

GF's lookin' very glam there! Nice effect with the glass too, environs/mood capture:

Casual, happy, fantastic composition:

Just phenomenal - the colors, the expressions, the framing and height mix just works, and the isolation from the background. Big 'pop' again here:

Thanks a lot, Jay.

First two are with the 50/1.8D, if you couldn't tell by the bokeh.

Truly wonderful set from the wedding, dwb.

My personal fav:

The timing is great. There's a wonderful composition and flow to her motions here, with just the right amount of DOF.

I don't usually like flash and that's why I asked, because they all looked so natural.

My friend got married last Sunday. My first try at being an official wedding photographer, so forgive the number of images:
One of the best wedding shots I have ever seen. Every picture has character. Great job man!

cheers,

Abhi

Thanks A!

The running one has a sort of dark-in-light, ying-yang diagram effect that worked on me.

Session from this past weekend. October is going to be stupid crazy for us...everyone comes out of the woodwork when the leaves start to change colour! All taken with D700 and Sigma 70-200.

c[_]

P.S. Not sure why, but the images appear a touch soft and the contrast is lower then they really look when they were attached here. Anywho...you get the gist.
