Those are lovely shots Antii ! Iceland is a country I'd really love to visit, maybe when I eventually move back to Europe I will.

BTW the horizon is pretty severely tilted to the right in #1

Love those tigers Darren.

Not sure the horizon is tilted as the road looks flat against the horizon. Looks like the land is tilting not the camera

Yes, it's the lay of the land, if i remember that scene correctly. There's a hill or a little mountain or whatever it's called on the left, and from there the terrain descends towards that river on the right.

Possibly. In my defence I have been correcting hundreds of horizons for the past two days (albatross shots from a boat in a 2m swell .... so every shot needed correcting) and it seems even my back garden is now tilted !

I can't say if the a level horizon in that shot is good or bad. But experimenting by breaking the rules is worth a trying for a break from the starchy landscape rules. One interpretation is it adds to an oddness and imbalance of where does this road go.

I'm back in the lake district for a few days, and shooting almost exclusively with the Zeiss 35 f/2. Just had the camera and that lens attached yesterday.

All with D800 and CZ 35 f/2
