Great series Axl, I'm not one for portraiture but you've been knocking them out of the park recently.

Two more from my month so far:

Sigma 100-300 f4

Nikon 50 1.8D

if my english serves me well, it means you like them so thanks!
As for the portraiture, Iīm so often at work I donīt have time to photograph just about anything else than my family (the last series is of my brother in law and nephew)

2 minutes at Neist Point - the wee figures on top of the cliff are tourists - I left them in for scale, because I like them and because I hate cloning stuff out.

If you don't mind me asking, how long was the exposure ? And any filters used ?

Yes, a lovely shot Mark. Who'd have thought Scotland could be so hot (pun intended)

PS> I just bought a Tamron 24-70 and will likely be selling my Nikkor 35/1.4G in case anyone is interested

Great shot as always Mark.

I'm guessing exposure was 2 minutes long? Or did you stop off at the spot only for 2 minutes? I think I would have stayed to enjoy the view for much longer than 2 mins!

Cheers guys - it was 119 seconds. I was in this spot for about an hour and a half. Sat down the whole time and changing filters very slowly as I was on a veeeery steep slope just a few feet above a cliff that dropped sheer into the sea so care was needed. I used a B&W ND110 (hence the warm colours) and a Lee 0.9 soft. I far prefer the B&W 10 stopper at dawn and dusk as my Lee Big Stopper gives everything a very blue cast.

Neat shot Tuco.. an homage to the image of the Nikon Df being dwarfed by a D4?

I'm trying to learn more about product photography. Can you explain your setup? Is one strobe for the background and one for bouncing off the reflector (located above camera?).. and also how do you get the dark reflection below the Pentax cameras?

I'm about to list my Nikkor 35/1.4G and my Zeiss 21/2.8 in the marketplace (need to update my subscription 1st) so if anyone is interested give me a yell.

Cheers

An old 20 is what I'm after - the 16-35 is doing nothing for me

Another Skye favourite.

Wonderful stuff as usual Mark.

My Zeiss isn't an "old 20" but I'll guarantee it's pretty wonderful. I need to cut my debts by selling a few things.
