I've a lot of catching up to do checking out all the pages I've missed in this thread (forum photos take a long while to load and don't look so awesome on an iPad) ! Just back from a month in Spain where there was plenty of work for the D800E and D3s, so here we go !

Zeiss 21/2.8

Gaudi's 'Sagrada Familia' in Barcelona, a simply astounding architecture (probably the most impressive, jaw-dropping, building I've seen - and I've lived in both Hong Kong & Shanghai where there are plenty of them ! ), due for completion around 2025 :O

First shot processed (those are not coloured lights above - that is light pouring through the stained glass windows) :

I'd agree with all that.

Weather still dire here

Couple of wee walking shots. Nowt startling but it was the first day out with the 85mm f1.8G and I just wanted to get used to it.

Got my new Tokina 17-35mm f4 yesterday. Crazy lens... here are some shots from a walk on the way home.

I really like it! I never really enjoyed wide angle photography until I got my 24mm f2.8 and the D800. Now I think this could become one of my most used lenses.

more from the Tokina 17-35mm f4 this weekend. I need to get my shutter speed up for next time and maybe stop down to 5.6/8.0

Also... with unedited RAW files at iso 800 I'm seeing more noise than I believe I should...

On the first picture there is some noise, indeed. nothing dramatic to me.
