The B-24 is pretty cool flare and all.
Thanks - it's actually the two remaining airworthy Avro Lancaster bombers.

I've obviously played with contrast and saturation but the lens flare is all Sigma 100-300. The shots either side were really bland in comparison...

Ah, Lancaster, okay.

I once had a B17 and B29 fly overhead at a low altitude. Man, the roar of those prop engines was amazing. And that was just two planes. Imaging a sky full of them like in WWII. You didn't need radar to know they were coming.

Amazing heavy bomber the Lancaster. Many do not realize how significant a contribution this bomber made, to winning WW2. When I was growing up in the '50's my parents had a WW2 era Lancaster bomber prop in our recreation room.

Nice, tuco. Looks like you had a much sunnier day than I did on the maple pass loop. Very pretty bit of mountain, that stretch of US-20.

Simon, great new addition to the family. Looks like a bundle of enthusiasm and I'm sure you'll take (and post!) some fine family photos with the pooch.

That is an amazing place which takes a day or more to see it all.

60th anniversary of Ferraris in the USA, on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. The old 5D and 17mm TS.
