I mostly use my D810 over my K-3 these days. This is a bit of a selection of what I've done with it in the last 6 months. Nothing particularly "Full Frame," about these. But having zero care about bumping up ISO to get a shot is nice.

The Tamron 70-200 f2.8 VC is a stellar lens though. Bit of a toss up between which I like better between that and the Sigma Art 50mm f1.4

I am bit of a sucker for that shallow DOF at f1.4 though. Fortunately I took two of these shots, focused on each person and they were framed identically, so I was able to save it by blending the two images together.

Took the D610 to something other than night-time rodeo. This bunch all with the Sigma 24-105 f4:

(In processing the night-time photos in this set, I learnt to love the Clarity slider in Lightroom )

Spent a few hours at the local pond with my girl friend this weekend. Lots of birds were really active. Both pictures here were shot with the D750 and Sigma 70-200 + the Sigma 2xTC.

Here's a shot of some ducklings being cute. They were playing in the water just five or six feet away.

Here's a really pissed off black bird chasing a raven. There were three black birds attacking this raven. One was chasing it and the other two were dive bombing it. Quite a ruckus!

Part of a series that I shot for a local Jeep dealership. This is one of the images that isn't making it into the add.

Nice work. QLD seems back to looking like a paradise. How do you find the lens?
