William S Hart was a western movie star. His movies tended to show the "realistic" west. He gave his property in Newhall to the county of Los Angeles.

The ranch house.

Colors did not matter so much in B&W films.

The house.

His horse, Fritz, received twice as much fan mail and had two secretaries to answer it.

He was a competitive "walker".

A visit from Bob and ???

His Speed Graphic.

He spent a lot of money on his audio equipment.

Amelia buzzed his house in her plane. Hart complained to the FAA. They finally met and became friends.

Letter from western artist Charles Russell. Several of Russell's works have sold for over $1-million.

How else do you ride a tank?

Swimsuit on bed.

I'm still finding ISO 10000 on the D750 quite amazing so playing around with that ISO quite a bit

An arb shot at ISO 10000 with the 24-120 F4

Spent some time over the holidays trying to photograph my parents' new puppies. One sat still long enough for a shot or two, the other did not :-)

Great image! I'm curious -- what was your optical set up to capture a snowflake in this much detail?
