Nice ones of the Shelby Mustangs, Cobras, and Daytonas. I watched them race at the Nurburgring during the 1000 KM in the '60s.

Thanks. I wish I had seen them in action.

On Wilshire Blvd between the Petersen museum and La Brea tar pits.

It's better at dusk.

It does... Almost makes me want a Sony... Almost.

But my D810 seems to be working well enough for me. I also seem to have an addiction to off camera flash. I almost can't shoot natural light anymore.

La Brea tar pits and Page museum.

It is just 30 feet from Wilshire Blvd, a main thoroughfare in Santa Monica.

The fences around the pits are taller than you can reach above, and the narrow mesh has no openings for cameras.

Active excavation pit.

Project 23. 23 boxes of fossil remains were removed from the nearby parking lot construction, hence the project name.

Wildllife often could not see the goo before it was too late.

Harlan's ground sloth.

Various skulls.

American mastodon.

Saber-tooth tooth replacement.

Early uses of tar (actually asphalt).

Woolly mammoth animatronic display.

Dire wolf.

Portion of the wall of 404 dire wolf skulls.

Sabertooth attack.

Area oilfield photo.

Lab worker. You could see the microscope's view on the monitor in the corner.

They recovered a nearly complete mammoth, named Zed. This is his complete tusk.

Sabertooth family.

Cylinders with different diameters tested your muscles.

Host of a show.
