Nice shot with that Takumar on the D810. I used mine on a D700 before I got the K-1.

Thanks. Yeah, I use it as my "macro" lens because that's all it can do without corrective optics and I don't have a macro lens in F-mount to date.

I used my Taks with a Kood M42-Nikon adapter to get infinity focus. It has a glass lens and I could never see any loss of IQ.
