Took a trip in my new car with my new FE 12 - 24. It's a super little lens. Light and compact and pretty sharp.

That's a very cool shot, Tuco!

At the end of an 11 mile walk, I arrived back to the area where we have accommodation. The sun was about to disappear behind Loughrigg Fell...

Did a macro romp about north of the Seattle Arboretum yesterday afternoon, and found aphids absolutely everywhere. Huge colonies of ants were swarming about tending to their livestock.

And while the ants may protect the aphids, others eat them for lunch:

Trying to catch the diamond ring of the eclipse. I have a totality version on BW film. Take time to smell the roses as they say. I missed most of the totality event messing around with camera gear.

I was indoors all day. I figured I would look at everyone else's better shots :-)

It was a cool experience being in totality. They say a normal lens approximates the human eye in FOV. But that moon looked twice as big than recored on my Pentax 67 and 105/2.4 lens. That's about a normal focal length for that format.

Walking down alley ways you typically see the opposite of what it looks like in the front of the buildings.

On my last evening in Seoul, I took a stroll with 2 mobile phones, and one camera and one lens. Didn't bring a tripod so most of these are handheld - the ones at Gyeongbokgung palace are half a second in exposure. For King Sejon and Cheonggye stream I balanced the camera for 10 - 30 seconds...
